Source: Giving USA Note: Giving USA does not track charitable gifts received by government agencies, such as school districts parks and recreation departments; civic improvement programs; state institutions of higher education; and public libraries. There is no single national list of public organizations that receive gifts. They cannot be identified and surveyed.
Unfortunately, according to Giving USA, in 2022, the environment was one of the least donated-to categories.
How much should I donate?
This is largely a personal choice and should be based on your individual financial situation, but as a benchmark: Americans donate about 2% of their disposable personal income.

Where should I donate?
While Snowlastalgia is unaffiliated with Protect Our Winters, it was largely inspired by its activism, research, and ongoing initiatives. To research additional organizations in environmental and climate activism, use Charity Watch or other non-profit searches. And if you haven't yet, check out the stickers page to buy a Snowlastalgia sticker—all proceeds will be donated to Protect Our Winters.
What if I can't donate?
There are plenty of ways to help combat climate change beyond monetary contributions. Volunteer with Protect Our Winters or other organizations fighting for our environment. Keep reading and learning about the issue, and spread the word using our Snowlastalgia stickers and shareables.
